I recently had the pleasure of stenciling a bathroom for a wonderful couple I met at the Shriner’s Home Show back in the fall.  The bathroom needed a complete re-do and was gutted down to the studs.   Gorgeous carrara marble tile floors, Silestone walls in the tub area, a granite counter top and wainscoting are some of the highlights of the finished room.  The results are amazing, and the renovation turned out beautifully!

Now for the wall finish.  The homeowner knew that she wanted a pattern on the walls, something that would compliment the room’s colors —  white, silver, black and gray —  yet keep the room neutral so that she would be able to use any accent color she wanted.  We found a beautiful allover stencil pattern from Royal Design Studio that was perfect and would add (in the homeowner’s words) “the finishing touch” to the space.   I then made up several sample boards in different colors and the winner was a soft silver metallic paint that plays off the lights and gives a soft shimmer to the walls.  Here’s how it turned out!
